Breeding
We strive to breed athletic horses with good minds and proven bloodlines for the hunter and jumper
disciplines.
How do we do this?
We choose to work with a small number of young horses each year, giving each one individual care and training.
Each is chosen with jumping in mind, we select only those with exceptional bloodlines, temperament and good
conformation. We acquire these horses from our own breeding program and from imported stock. We often have a variety
of ages and if we do not have what you are seeking we have many sources who may.
Our breeding program
We began our program with two of our Brazilian Sport Horses: Shaquille WB and Novica WB. Their colt Smarty Pants
WB was born in May of 2004, he was the highest ranking horse at the 2005 AWS Florida inspection and we are very
excited about the future of this horse, his free-jump shows a lot of potential and he has all the
poise of his sire and
the power of his dam over the fences.
2005 Novica produced Miss
Daisy WB, a filly by VDL Cardento, and in 2007 she produced Glorias Valentine WB, a filly by Quickstar, for 2008
she is being bred back to Shaquille WB
We also purchased Kamira from Thrasher Farms in California. She is a Ster mare by Ramiro, she was bred to Shaquille and produced Shaka Zulu WB, our first foal from Kamira. She is currently back at Peterson & Smith in Ocala being inseminated.
Veronike, our old Corland filly who is now going nicely under saddle and is even competing at local shows, was bred to Shaquille and produced a great looking colt called Baba booey. She is returning to work in preparation for the 5yr old classes.
We do have a select number of offspring for sale each year, if you have questions about our breeding program, the horses we use, or our stock for sale, please email Sally for more information.
